In July we went with some of Darin's family to Huntington Beach. We had such a great time visiting them and enjoying the beautiful weather. The World Surf Championship was going on while we were there which was fun to watch and the waves were the biggest they've seen in about 12 years! Needless to say we didn't go very far into the water, the surf would have carried our little ones away...that proved a bit difficult for Roman. He turned out to be the little surfer boy that he looks like! He LOVED the waves, the sand, and the candy that we brought along ;)! Allie and Kate looked for seashells, built castles, and buried Dad.
Thanks again Robbie and Amy for inviting us and a big thank you to all the sisters/bro-in-laws for watching our bugs while we went for morning bike rides. :-) (I love vacations with nannies!)
